Cassidy Wake, Bachelor of Music

 

Cassidy Wake is an aspiring recording artist born in Alberta, Canada and raised in the Provo area of Utah. She graduated from the Violin Performance program at BYU after studying with Monte Belknap and Alexander Woods and has run her own private studio since 2011. She has been a member of a wide variety of performing ensembles, including quartets, bluegrass bands, baroque groups, and symphony orchestras.

Cassidy loves working with all levels of students and encourages a well-rounded approach to music learning. Students will learn to play in many musical genres in a relaxed, individualized setting and learn to appreciate the beauty and language of music. Students will also learn to bridge the gap between practice-room playing and performing. Whether you prefer the tried-and-true method books or the exploratory approach, you can count on gaining a new perspective and appreciation for the world of music in Cassidy's studio.
